About Me

imageElena Tate is a New York State-licensed massage therapist, on the Faculty at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Clinical Supervisor at the Initiative for Women with Disabilities at NYU Langone hospital in New York City.

Elena has been in practice for over 10 years and has supervised massage therapy teams at the Firefighter Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Charity Run and the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Medical Team.

She holds a certification in Prenatal Massage and offers massage during all trimesters of pregnancy and postpartum. Her specialty is in working with people who have survived trauma and are working to reclaim a positive relationship with touch and their own bodies.

She is the proud mother of a delightful toddler and she knows how important it is to take care of yourself, just as you take care of everyone else...

It is a joy for her to share the healing power of massage therapy with her clients, her students, and her young son!
